Configuring Backup in Standalone Mode
This chapter will demonstrate how to setup backup preferences.
Open Your Backup Preferences Panel
- Click on 'File' from the Menu Bar then select 'Backup Preferences'.

- Click on the 'Backup' button in the Database Settings window.

Schedule Your Backups
- To schedule your backups, select the 'Scheduler' tab.
- From the drop down menu next to 'Automatic Backup', select the frequency in which you would like the backup to take place.
- Then select the day of the month next to 'Date' and enter next to 'at' what time you would like the backup to take place.

Set the Configuration of Your Backups
- Select the location in which you would like to save your backups under 'Backup File Destination Folder'.

Change Your Backup Preferences
- Select the 'Backup & Restore' tab.
- Fill in and select your preferences under 'General Settings', 'Archive' and 'Automatic Restore'.
For a more detailed explanation about this step see the next lesson 'Configuring Backup on the Server' to see how to schedule automatic backups. - IMPORTANT: After you are done click 'Cancel' instead of OK to save your changes- this is due to a bug in the system.
