Creating a Client (Workstation) Profile

The first time you upgrade the software and run CurrencyXchanger, the system will prompt you to create a machine profile.

The system will prompt an Alert about your computer profile

After you startup the updated version of the software, the system will alert you about the lack of a 'Preference Profile' (computer profile) on your machine and will ask you to create one.

  • Click <OK> on the Alert.
  • The 'Client Preferences' module will then open automatically.

Create a New Machine Profile

  • If you have not been automatically prompted to the 'Client Preferences List', open the 'Client Preferences' module from the pulldown menu in the modules panel to create a new Machine Profile.

  • Click 'New' from the 'Client Preferences List'

Setup the Client Preferences

Create a workstation (computer) preference profile.

  • Fill in the 'Client Preferences Entry' form as per your personal preference.
  • Click 'Save' once completed.

Review and Edit

  • You may review and/or change the settings of the Machine Profile you added.
  • To do so, double click on the computer you would like to review then click on the 'Edit' button from the 'Client Preferenes' tool bar.
